out of the blue today mrs C says you can have a new bike.
    so i’m open to suggestions,
my riding is twice a week round wakefield leeds castleford(mainly xc),and we try to get off once a month to dalby, sherwood or gisburn.Once or twice a year we do a charity ride between 60-90 miles
previous bikes are giant xtc 26
    spesh camber 26
    orange clockwork 29
liked em all, they did everything i needed,
    i think ive got a £2000 limit,

    any ideas?
    thanks

There are loads of options. Maybe do some test riding and at least narrow it down a bit.

ive been to the lbs today and had a look at a few treks and scotts
the owner is going to loan me one of his on monday for week, its a superfly hardtail.
im working in whitby at the moment,so im going to try and call at big bear bikes in pickering, think they do some test rides up at dalby for a small fee

ok,at the moment i have a carbon superfly hardtail on loan from the lbs, which is a cracking bike ,but not for me.
    i’ve made a bit of a shortlist,
scott genius 920 (2014) sale price
    scott genius 930 (2015)
    trek remedy 8/9 27.5 (2015)
    trek fuel 8(2015)

i’ve just missed out on a 2013 rumblefish

upto press ive tried the scott and the fuel which i both loved

anyone any input/experience of these,or any other suggestions?

    i’m looking around £2k
