    It's a bike,I don't like it,but it's not mine so it matters not.
It yours & you like it,enjoy.......

But if you're just riding it to be different, then that's very sad & you need to grow up,but that's only if you are.......

It's all the result of an international cock-up by IF really. They stock-piled tubes hoping to squeeze the market and push prices up but didn't foresee the massive move to carbon-fibre by all the mainstream manufacturers. Result - they were left with too many tubes and a plummeting market. What to do? Well, you can probably work the rest out... But, looks like they've cocked up again because eagle-eyed users of STW have noticed their cunning plan to slip an extra tube into every frame they build unnoticed

    No Pete.

It's just there to help support his Camelbelly.

Its fine, not my cup of tea, but then my bikes get knocked for looking odd too, but they suit me and do what I ask of them, that'll do me.

At the very least you could take some close up pictures of the normally fabulous IF paint job?

You will stand out, but don't expect anyone to applaud you

    Bit like you Rudeboy!

Maybe you should seek medical help for your condition.

    What condition???

Verbal diarrhoea...you don't half spout some mean and nasty sh!te.

    Oh, and no smiley.

Well, if you think that's mean and nasty, I might hold back on what I really think..

I was going to say, 'why coon't you have had a nice one, like FoxyChick's, made?'. Never mind..

I'm reasonably sure that Sheldona won't be too upset by my onions. If he were, in fact, the sensitive type, I doubt very much, that he wooduv posted pics of his bike, on here. Indeed, in his opening post, he as well as invited criticism, so I feel no weight in doing so.

feel free to post a pic of your bike for us to take a look at

    Here you go:

Check pon qualitage Aralditing and riveting:

Feel free to comment in whatever way you see fit. I'm not particularly bothered. And neither, I suspect, is Sheldona.

Can't believe the amount of posts on this and how people seem annoyed by the apperance of the bike

Get over it!! We all love bikes,we all have different tastes..gears,ss,29,26,69 whatever. BUT the main thing is that we all aim to just have fun on the bloody things, maybe race a little or just spin with mates or just getting away on your own

Bikes are for taking you places and enjoyment.

    blah, blah, blah...

I still love the colour Sheldona!!!

Is it in pride of place in your front room Sheldon?

    Do you keep stroking it?

Hope yours gives you as much pleasure as mine does me!

To me, I don't see the difference between someone having that bike made, and a 'boy racer' who puts loads of bits of plastic on a Corsa or whatever, just to 'stand out'. You will stand out, but don't expect anyone to applaud you.

You are making a statement about yourself [having started your comment "to me"]. Have you considered that the 'boy racer' may not be doing it to 'stand out' but to join in? To have an interest, a hobby that he can share with friends. To socialise and make new friends. To enthuse and get passionate about. To interact with other like-minded people. To enjoy, to pass the time, to get pleasure from. There is a world out there beyond your blinkers, you know.

I fail to see how passing comment on a point of aesthetics, is being 'nasty'.

So, my comments are a bit provocative. Maybe they provoke debate/argument/start WW3.

Can't see the point of a forum, if people aren't going to use it, to discuss ideas and onions.

Sheldona has basically asked what people think (otherwise, what was the point of posting pics?). He knew that this would get differing reactions, not all complementary. Now, being an honest kind of bloke, I believe in saying what I think. Which is, that it's not to my particular taste. I have differing tastes in music, food, drink, art, fashion, etc, from others. Diversity is a wonderful thing.

Actually, well done to Sheldona, for having a bike made, that gets such a reaction. There; he's got the attention he wanted, we've all had a grumble, everyone's a winner!

    "Ian Brady/Myra Hindley love child"

LOL! I do find that quite funny! Was it meant as an insult? Come on, Foxy; you can do better than that.

Bikes are for taking you places and enjoyment.

    Quite.

And also for pointing, laughing and howling in derision, at!

FC no it's slaped in the conservatory until I make room in the shed!

Pd hits nail on the head

So does Taff although I have been let down by the massive as I wanted my garden to be mentioned too!

Anyway time to move on I think thanks for stopping by!

    Fugly.

Why stop at 1 pointless extra top tube?

as I wanted my garden to be mentioned too!

Your grass needs cutting, borders need trimming and your coconut tree looks weird.

LOL I think if a bike get slated on here then that makes it a great bike!

That's why I deliberately mis-align tyre logos. And put Charlie and Lola stickers on my bike. And pink grips. And spokey dokeys.

If you had found that bike in a skip and painted it up that that'd be cool. But you designed* it and spent money on it.

    Trying too hard = fail.

    * I think you can get tablets for the aesthetically challenged on the NHS.

i have no particular dislike for the extra tube, in fact i like the look of it. but the overall bike looks very short and tall/upright, is that the position that results/was intended? got a pic of you on board?

  22. thekingofsweden - Member

Sheldon i thought the extra tube was for extra stiffness cos your so powerful.

The extra tube is much like public opinion not important

    couldn't borrow your chainsaw could i ?
