    Straight out the box yesterday:

Then I took it off road before I had chance to fit the grippier tyres:

First impressions are that its very fast, way too fast for me in fact. I need to get fitter and loose some weight to really be able to through it around. But I have pushed it as far as I can and it never faltered, except the slick tyres in dusty New Forest sand that wasn’t fun 🙂

First long day out is 11th then the Dorest Gravel ride thing in May 🙂

Like the headtube and the forks.
Can’t quite decide on the rest, mainly because of the large frame size.

with such a large frame you really need a bigger whee….. oh.

Theyve got a £2.5K carbon one in my LBS, nicely understated graphics and v classy. Trying to convince t’other half they dont do one in her size 🙂

I remember when GT went bust (I owned an I-drive at the time and stocked up on spares) when they were bought out the mission statement from the new owners was something along the lines of “we’ll be concentrating on the sub $500 market”. Glad someone made them see the error of their ways!
