  • New Bike coming- What to put on it?

    So I’ve got a new pivot Les hardtail coming this week, deciding what to put on it.. I’m thinking xt groupset and a series of 32,34,36 WN rings to deal with all possiblities and then I have front mech and rings for any MTB marathons.

    Unless anyone knows of deals of the weekend for some 11spd.. but budget is going to be hard pushed to stretch further.

    What I’m not sure is forks, Always enjoyed fox forks or newer SID’s but happy to try something else if there are any deals for a 15mm axle, 100mm travel fork which is reasonably light.

    Also thinking MTN Zoom wide flat bars or Kinesis strut bars.
    I have wheels sorted unless anyone know’s of lightweight xc 29er wheel deals.

    Basically I want it useable but under 22lbs.

    Any help would be splendid.

    Got the new SID XX they are awesome I haven’t ridden the new fox though. Magura are meant to be very good but I would be concerned about spares
