Going to add an outer ring to my 2×9 race face cranks.
Both are shimano, can I add any old Shimano outer that matches my price range?
Will it shift ok?
Silly question perhaps, but don’t want to be buggering around.

any ramped ring will work so long as its a 3x chainset.
