I’m looking at this Ritchey one which is £17! but it says semi-integrated so not sure if it will work?

Id go with the cheaper one.

The best most reliable headsets I’ve had are neco branded from China through eBay. Cheap as chips.

I bought a Brand X headset and the bottom of the lower cup actually touched the fork so it wouldnt turn. It was a tapered one though so not the same as yours. Several others had the same experience – reviews at link below

Uberbike steel 44mm then a cheap reducer for straight steerer.

The Uberbike ones do look really nice but I found this Token one for £16, will it work? Really confused at the dimensions on the description, what is 44×50? I know I need 44×28.6 upper and 44×30 lower, but if it’s 44mm straight 1 1/8″ it should work right?

The 44×50 is the size of the top cover that fits over the 44mm top cup, 50mm outer diameter (the bit stuck out of the frame) , 44mm inner diameter, (the bit that presses into the frame) . It’ll be fine..
