A perfectly ripe peach or nectarine is one of the nicest thing you can put in your mouth

Had some disappointing ones recently that never achieved optimum ripeness before starting to go mouldy – very disappointing

heard apple+peach (don’t think that’s even viable either), and plum+peach (which is a possible combo, but iirc is called a Pleach)

seems lots of people have been told such things when little and believed them to the extent they’re adamant it’s true.

anyway, why choose between a bald peach, and one with a bit of fuzz, when you can have 1 tree with both on, and indeed other fruit of the plum family ?
