Off to Betws y Coed for the weekend and wondering what ride to do on the Friday afternoon. Done the Marin (OK) and will be doing Penmachno (great!) again.
Any recommendations for natural riding in the area?

Buy a map, also theres a good bikey shop in llanwrst almost opposite the nice chippy.
Also follow the old road from Betws to llanwrst and half way theres aa forest rack going off up hill go up there and lots of quiet bits, also on the A5 after betws going north theres some decent trails on the left, havent been on a bike there for 6 years but they where quiet and god views bit of climbing though.

We're off there soon and thinking of doing snowdon and cader idris although it might be just the one if everyone wimps out. Which is more fun coming down?
