Not really lots of mud in the lakes it get so much water that washes the trails clean
more rock and gravel so a tyre that suits wet rock would be a good choice .

What mike said, with a dual ply rear to avoid pinches.

Yep as mikesmith says, also its worth looking for a front tyre with a good side tread, it helps the bike track properly and is very noticeable on boulder/loose slate type trails.

I use HR60a on the front and ArdentExo on the back.

May look to a 42a HR front and HR60a on the rear for winter.

Not really any requirement for mud tyres, as all the BW’s seem to be rivers at the moment. 🙁

29er? (that’s what you normally ride?)

Hans Dampf – Trailstar at front, Pacestar rear. Job done.

Something that won’t pinch flat (I had four in the space of three rides last week, including both tyres at once on one descent!).
