Mrs. B, the Boy and I are becoming the proud owners of a female Briard puppy in a couple of weeks time – sort of large black shaggy sheep dog thing. Very faithful, territorial and protective. Highly intelligent, and as such used by French shepherds, army and police as a working dog.
