My wife and kids are watching Brigadoon.

FFS, that’s all I have to say. I have no other words for this.

    Battleship.

I’m still not sure if it was a spoof (intentionally or otherwise).

I got really angry seeing a film the other day…
    oh yeah, “Woman in black”.
    Hated it.
Rubbish story, terrible acting from Potter, and just because it’s ‘jumpy’ doesn’t make it scary.

Phoenix the Ninja (certainly the worst dubbed ever).

    Star Wars 1
LoTR trilogy box set extended edition (they were too frickin’ long in the first place!)
I fell asleep, so can only assume they were bad.

    Warhorse.

Millions of dead and injured human beings. Presumably several hundred thousand other dead horses.

But we have to care about this one horse, cos its special, it has pretty eyes or something.

    Utter shite

Pretty much any 80s karate film. Bonus points if it’s got Cynthia Rothrock in it.

I can’t help but think that’s a mild-overreaction. It is, after all, complete pish.

The point is I was defending the fantasy genre with terminal intensity, when what I should have said was “Dad, you’re right – but let’s give Krull a try, and we’ll discuss it later”

    The play was good though!

Mine; the patrol. On trend british afghanistan film. Nothing happens then one of them says “its not our war” and the hofficer says “ok” and they just all drive off! Dirge!

I think I’m the only person in the world who liked Open Water.

    Anyway, Birdman.

The Hurt Locker. Not sure what version they gave all the awards to but the version I watched was utter crap.

    Anyway, Birdman.

The trailers look quite interesting, but I do fear that they don’t represent the reality of the film.

are we including kids films? coz I was dragged by mum and sister to watch The Carebears movie in 1985, abd although I can’t remember anything about it I’m pretty sure it was dire.

Yeah, absolutely this. Have made a sequel? Sharknado was utterly dire but in a watchable “WTF are they gonna do next?” way.

There’s at least two of us

Woman in Black…just because it’s ‘jumpy’ doesn’t make it scary.

There’s a few film-makers who could do with remembering this.

Actually one of my favourite films!

Anyway, any film based on a computer game, with FarCry pretty much at the top.

I’ve been dragged along to see all kinds of shite in my time, but the winner by some margin is G-Force
Something to do with superhero gerbils. Honourable mention for ‘Truly Madly Deeply’.

    Snake Shit Eyes.

Nicholas Cage at his very, very worst.

This, Jason and the firkin Agrinots.

I was made to watch this 5 times one after the other by my then “best mate” who loved it, we had a real to real projector at our place so we’d very often hold “film nights”

    This was shite, still is.

I thought Gravity was pretty awful. At least we only watched it on DVD so I could go off and do something more interesting, the washing up if I remember correctly.

I was a great fan of the book, really looked forward to the film when it was released in 1984, I very quickly realised it was utter, utter garbage so fell asleep and missed the last 40 minutes. 137 minutes of my life gone.

Pearl harbour ran it pretty close. I almost got ejected from the cinema for laughing through most of it
