I got really angry seeing a film the other day…
oh yeah, “Woman in black”.
Hated it.
Rubbish story, terrible acting from Potter, and just because it’s ‘jumpy’ doesn’t make it scary.
The point is I was defending the fantasy genre with terminal intensity, when what I should have said was “Dad, you’re right – but let’s give Krull a try, and we’ll discuss it later”

The play was good though!
Mine; the patrol. On trend british afghanistan film. Nothing happens then one of them says “its not our war” and the hofficer says “ok” and they just all drive off! Dirge!
are we including kids films? coz I was dragged by mum and sister to watch The Carebears movie in 1985, abd although I can’t remember anything about it I’m pretty sure it was dire.
I’ve been dragged along to see all kinds of shite in my time, but the winner by some margin is G-Force
Something to do with superhero gerbils. Honourable mention for ‘Truly Madly Deeply’.
I was made to watch this 5 times one after the other by my then “best mate” who loved it, we had a real to real projector at our place so we’d very often hold “film nights”
I thought Gravity was pretty awful. At least we only watched it on DVD so I could go off and do something more interesting, the washing up if I remember correctly.
Dune
I was a great fan of the book, really looked forward to the film when it was released in 1984, I very quickly realised it was utter, utter garbage so fell asleep and missed the last 40 minutes. 137 minutes of my life gone.
Pearl harbour ran it pretty close. I almost got ejected from the cinema for laughing through most of it
