At the moment a lot of the bridalways near me are surrounded by long grass an my mech seems to love collecting it. The problem then is the chain starts skipping and messing about, I’ve also had it wear through the plastic of the jockey wheel. The problem only lasts a few months of the year (when the grass is grown up) but it means i have to constantly stop an clear my rear mech. A couple of friends with sram mechs have no problems what so ever anyone have any ideas of preventing the problem? ………….other than buy a sram mech or ss! 🙂

I get that with my sram rear mech. Winds itself around the jockey wheel and is a complete pain in the arse to remove.

Stay away from grass.
