New 666 frame and Magna Lady Power Climber. A wee shakedown ride for mine to adjust gears and make sure new brakes were ok too. Morna got very bored with my fettling with my front mech.

Do you really make your wife ride that? You heartless bastard!

Your saddle cost nearly as much as her bike (at rrp). Not really very fair.

Yes. You obviously needs to splash out a bit and buy yourself a proper saddle.

Bet the Magna lasts longer without braking ……

Seriously though why let your wife ride such shite

It does weigh more than mine, and as for lasting longer, that frame is my third frame on warranty. Her tyres needed pumped up when it was dusted off from the shed. She likes it, so no real need to change.

Morna says : “I like it and I am too tight to spend more than £80 on a bike”

She didn’t appreciate the “shite” comment Phildowling so watch out mate, a woman not to be messed with.

Build the woman a real bike – or buy the bits so she can do it. Whatever, don’t make her ride that.
