    Took the bike for service (lots of parts needed replacing fair play) a day later shop calls frame is damaged – i go look, no problem make a tough choice -new frame bought? ) went today i bought the wrong bb – choice is take the hit and try sell it or buy new crankset to fit new hollowtech bb(new crank slx flavour bought) i then spy a handlebar stem combo-i left the shop at that point, but i want it (only the stem bars and forks from original bike) i cant afford new forks but bar /stem hmm -i am an addict?

    One i justified building a new bike as I had a pair of wheels and brakes

    I’ve built bikes from looking at a pair of grips the wrong way before now.

    It never ends, the need to build, to buy, new or preloved, as long as we can make it fit, we just keep on, a never ending spiral of bikes and parts and excuses.

    The wife wasn’t happy ? but i am surprised she was ok when i finished work ? Its a great feeling that my work mates don’t understand. You spent how much on a bike that you pedal – the wife says if i give her my i-phone its alright ? Damn i should of got the bars and stem????
