I bought a second hand Revelation fork from eBay, particularly attractive as it had recently been serviced. One of the items on the refit invoice was to tap and refit the grub screw on the floodgate adjuster.
On the first ride on my newly built C456 the floodgate knob and the blue compression adjuster fell off. I noticed this after 2 miles on the red route at QECP and backtracked but couldn't find it.
Given it happened so soon is it reasonable to ask the seller for a partial refund to cover the cost of the missing knob is should I just MTFU as its "one of those things"?
I'm really not sure - if it had happened in a couple of weeks I'd have sucked it up but within 2 miles given it was explicitly subjected to a service recently makes me feel a bit hard done by!
Or does anyone have a knurled floodgate adjuster going spare?!
