I didn’t expect it to work quite so easily. I will work on better proportions and with more interesting bottle in the future I think.

A single cut around with with a glass cutter. Pour some just boiled water over and then cold water. Repeat twice and the bottle just pops apart. The glass edges weren’t sharp but I sanded them a little anyway.

    Well, that works! 🙂

How stable is it? And how did you attach the top bit to the bottom bit?

If that is sunscreen in that bottle then i think you may be a bit optimistic about the weather.

That’s not a phone, it is a fruit bowl so obviously not charging!

Sunny Southampton, home of the rich and famous. Always keep the after-sun handy as you never know which babe is going to ask you to rub some in.

Reasonably stable as long as you don’t fill it totally when it gets a bit top heavy.

Superglue to fix the two parts as it is what I had. Suggestions for better fixing are welcome.

    Battery powered fruit bowl?

You must have some serious pampas grass outside.

The stem (top bit of the bottle) will scratch work tops/ table / whatever. Maybe fix something to the base?

The disapproving box back right needs to be in “Argh, my eye.”

Not the best beer I have poured but I thought I would show it being used.

Superglue is not going to be very robust, I can see that coming apart very quickly. Two-pack clear epoxy would be far betterer. The cheap stuff from Wilco or the Pound Shop will do.

That tile a above the bottle and the glass isnt aligned with those either side. I dont know how you live with that everyday…

The base looks like a rocket engine exhaust.

That idea will never take off.
