Jeez - what vets do you use? That would have cost us around £25.
At that point, a very well know chain of vets. Suffice to say we now use a local vet.
I remember the vet clicking a button on his computer and it was charging us by the second (or so it seemed).
Our vet (whom we called last night) was fantastic. The way I felt after trawling through tens of google pages last night I would of happily paid any amount to make sure he was ok.
Just got back from a moorland walk , he seemed right as rain.

I hope your dog is feeling ok today.
My dog has eaten everything that could potentially kill it. Raisins, grapes, holly berries, acorns, chocolate. After one costly visit to an out of hours vet on a bank holiday the vet advised me to induce vomiting by giving the dog a couple of teaspoons of salt ASAP.

Dogs are pretty hardy in reality.
My two dogs helped themselves to a few handfulls of rat poison pellets that I put out. Obviously we ended up in the vets for a proper checkover but apart from their savage farts they were ok.

Just one of the reasons that dogs are mans best friend. Looking at the pile of junk I have got to work my way through, wish I had my sisters old greedy dog back.pounds of lard, those ice cream size tubs of margerine and half of anything left on the kitchen woorktops stood on its hind legs, could move a setee with you sat on it for a crumb of food. Glad its seems ok.
