    Cable doesn’t appear to have snapped, is housed correctly at the lever end. Seems like the cables stretched but more likely its not seated correctly at the latch end.

    Is this a big job to sort?

    Get someone to push up and down on the bonnet above the catch while you pull the lever.

    Not a masive job its just getting the bonnet to open is a faff. If your lucky getting some one to push the bonnet down and release it as you try the release cable can be enough to pop it.

    My old integra dc2 used to do this. The bonnet has a rubber seal which used to stick after a winter of filth.
