righog – I do like the RF styling, but prefer the simplicity of the fabric folding roof, I think if it was a daily drive and I had to park it in more random places it would be top of the list as the folding tin top would provide better security and peace of mind when left.

Mazda UK have a couple Launch events and I got an invite so I am going along to one to see it in the flesh, but suspect I’ll stick this time with the Sport RS we have now

I test drove one years ago but opted for a Honda S2000 instead. I might as well have bought the MX5 as everyone thought that was what I had.

My sister had an MX5 which her husband loved driving except for the abuse random people shouted at him about being a hairdresser etc.

Had a MK2 until the first child arrived. Was a lot of fun.
