    Nah doctorgnash, your not right,I upgraded from tplink av200 to gbit 600 as the 200 were too slow to stream bluray, admitedley everything else worked. Also a direct connection oberv cat 6 is much faster for backups and transfers than Gbit av 600. My point is 200 is old news, spend a bit more, you can even get 1000. Also they are not 600 or 1000mbps way slower in reality

    Squeezebox boombox in the kitchen or garage

    Music on an old dedicated imac running LMS (Logitech Media Server)

    Sonos is way overpriced for what it is.

    Haven’t used bandcamp much, but use Bleep a bit for the same reasons you state. Don’t like Spotify. I used to use it, but stopped when I heard how little the artists make.

    *edit* Yeah I have a nice old amp and speakers that I want to use, which is another tick against Sonos.

    My Sonos looks like this:

    DLNA enabled amp, play from phone (free app) or NAS via phone, job done.
