i seem to remember that movie maker did the video trimming at the start and end and allow editing but not sure on the added sound track

can it be done in windows 7 insatlled software or do i need a software package

if so any one recommend a good free down load

If it doesn’t, you can convert itunes .aac or whatever it is to .mp3 and do it from there.

it’s somewhere in the options/preferences, but I don’t have itunes on this laptop so couldn’t say exactly where.

Sorry bud. Been away for a bit.
Somewhere in the options/preferences there’s a bit to choose what format you ‘rip’ cds to. I think this is automatically set as .aac or .mp4a or whatever iTunes default is. Just change this to .mp3 and then when you right-click on any file in your iTunes library there should be an option to ‘convert to mp3’
