Road bike and mountain bikes. Should I take them off today or will that trigger some old bloke with a beard to start building a boat?

Yup, safe to take them off.

It won’t rain again until autumn and the dogs will stop shitting on the paths.

I’ve never had any on… Perhaps that’s been the cause of the bad weather…?

The run up to my wife’s birthday (today)is always good.
Then due to a combination of bank holiday and Hastings Green Man parade the weather turns diabolical.
    My mudguards are staying on!

I can understand for road / commuting but off road getting wet and muddy is half the fun!

Wet enough out this morning that I was glad to have left mine on due to not having time to take them off (this is on the road bike, I leave the Fender Bender thing on the MTB all year round). Seems to have dried up now I’m back home, typical.

For my commuter they never come off-i don’t see the point.

For my mtb they’re never on-i don’t see the point!

Same here. Permanent on the commuter, none on the road bikes, crud on seatpost of the mtb that I remove for transport anyway.

May leave the crud off later today 🙂

While you’re at it the small block 8’s, racing ralphs or racekings should be going on as a pair!

I did it. All off all bikes. Didn’t realise I had so many!

    Cut Gate was perfect today.

They stay on my commuter all year round but today I wore shorts for the first time (and it rained).
