Probably moving in the summer, and probably to Fairford. Much riding going on there?

Obviously I’ll be an hour from south wales, but is there any local riding worth having?

Your spoilt for choice for road rides, some nice quiet lanes criss crossing the main routes. As for off road, head to Stroud valleys, behind Nationwide in Swindon, 417 Project at Birdlip, Cranham and surrounding woods. For BMX try Rush in Brimscombe. Depends where your coming from I guess, but I like the Stroud valleys for my doorstep MTB riding.

Not very high res, it’s a screen grab of the largest area I could fit on the pad screen, but you can see it’s pretty flat, with not much in the way of bridleways:

Half an hour’s drive to Cheltenham where you have Leckhampton Hill.

That’s the problem with living on airfields, unfortunately!
