    Hi,

An advert for this popped up on my face book feed.

It looks like a way of finding paid mountainbike guides or getting paid for guiding, with the company skimming a percentage.

    Has anyone tried it?

I fancy the idea as way of getting out riding more often because I have a reason/ booking

When I had a check to see if anyone had mentioned it on here before a thread about who richmtbguru was/is came up 🙂 It looks US based, was richmtbguru UK based?

I’ve signed up and will see what happens.

I signed up as I have plenty of time at the moment, but the locals all show people around for nothing, damm nice people!! But if somebody does want to pay to be shown around let me know, I’ll undercut myself
Also not sure how it addresses things like liability which no amount of disclaimers will fix if money changes hands

They mention uber a few times, so I guess however uber get round liability will be how they get round it.

bit of a gamble to get around?
Generally never make assumptions about liability and insurance.

    Hmm,

Perhaps I’ll pass on paid guiding 🙂
