    Fixed = Work Of Satan.

    WCA rides some stupid contraption off road ffs, but then he is a complete idiot. 😐

    The Ti Lynskey is briliant real quality.

    No bottle bosses on the Pinarello and the forks are a very different shade of cream to the frame, those crazy Italians.

    Actually I’ve bin watching the track World Champs in the background; I’d really love to have a go at track riding, but the idea of riding a fixed wheel terrifies me. 😯

    Hurry up and finish that local velodrome….

    the biggest issue I have with riding fixed is that when I get back on my mountain bike I try and pedal through the corners thinking that I can’t stop

    .

    On-road it’s a lot like riding a bike, except without the noise, or the ability to keep up with anyone with gears. I like it.

    <insert usual spiritual nonsense about single speeding/fixie/whatever>

    Dunno what it’s like off-road, but one day I’m going to find out.

    I think they’re all running free. 3/4 hours fixed in the Chilterns can get you down.

    That Pinarello has too many brakes….

    fixie off road is great fun and gives you an excuse for being slow. great feeling when you actully manage to pass someone. worth keeping a rear brake for those suprises when your legs are just not enough

    Maybe that might explain your irrational fear of the fixie.

    Ebrase that pedal strike.

    considering how spread out the velodromes in the u.k are Herne Hill is your local velodrome, and unlike the pringle is running track induction sessions with bike hire every weekend.

    I did some fixed off-road on 28c tyres on Thursday evening. Ace fun!

    When it had slightly bigger tyres:
