Have been using Snowcard and always seem reasonable considering I’ve got Osteoporosis . Just wondering if there are any better/cheaper alternatives ?

I’ve tried a few ‘specialist’ bike insurers to insure two bikes, worth around £2k & £3k. They all came back in the region of £70 odd a month :-/ . Tried calling the household insurance providers, quoted around £100 for the whole year. Insured against theft in the house, in a locked car and out and about so long as they are locked (with a gold standard lock). They will also cover in europe up to 30 days a time. So well worth giving your household insurers a bell. Can’t see why anyone would use one of the specialist ones unless I’m missing something?!

…sorry, just looked up Snowcard. I thought you were asking about insuring the bike while away. Snowcard look good, might have to use them myself!

Used these guys last year, cover MTB in their standard policy, prices seemed good compared to Snowcard and Dogtag last year.
