Going for the 2.2″ but was thinking what the 2.4″ was like, is it that much bigger? Is the 2.2″ a proper 2.2″ or do people feel it is under/oversized compared to a ‘normal’ sized tyre?

I am used to 2.1″ Advantages and the narrower 2.1″ trailraker, if that makes any comments easier for me to picture?

My 2.2 Mountain King doesnt feel ‘big’ at all.

Make sure you get the “black chilli” versions, the others are rubbish.

go to the thread earlier about my BFe. on the front of the bike are some 2.4

yes 2.4 on the front and 2.2 on the back….

Interesting, though 2.4 may be too much for a narrower style XC rim…
