With it fast approaching, could do with some clarification !!

So, is it a day for mothers to lay around slack all day, and not do a thing,

Or for mothers to spend some quality time with there kids, so there fathers can get a good day out on the trails ?

PS. No need for clarification of Father’s Day – it IS a biking day.

I didn’t realise that it is also ‘mother of your child day’ as well.

Got quite told off when I did not get my wife anything when our eldest was a few months old.

Bloody complicated being a man sometimes.

Go for a ride. Seriously, what’s the worst that could happen?

The worst that could happen !! Hmmm, she removes all the money from our bank account, so I can’t pay for my new bike that’s due next week.

It’s our (clearly will be hers) wedding anniversary on the same day! Clearly I’m screwed this year!

Box of chocs for the mother of my child waiting for her when I’ve gone out on my bike. I do like chocs.

Chocs may have worked last year, but she’s given up the good stuff for lent.

    It is Mothering Sunday.
A day to gorge oneself on chocs and laze away the day.

That won’t be me then as I’m only the auntie and the little joy never buys me anything anyway.

The wife is not your mother so must continue here duties regardless.

I tell my wife she needs to go away/home for the weekend to visit her ‘mother church’.

Then me and the kids can, sleep in; eat all the chocolates and go out biking.
