The wife has a Renault Grand Scenic, there is an issue meaning the ECU and wiring loom need replacing which is a long story in itself.
If the car was to go in for an MOT with the passenger airbag switched off and a message on the dash saying passenger airbag is switched off would it still pass the MOT providing there were no other issues found?

Isn’t it that if it’s fitted it should work?

I believe not, airbag light on is now a fail. Used to be an advisory but I think they’d activate it to check.
