    Are they for real???

I did check the date before I posted this. Most people I know are working flat out doing more for less.

    What does ‘flat out’ mean?

Who know if they are right or not, but I’d expect it to be the usual Tory working class-bashing.

“We must stop bailing out the reckless, avoiding all risk and rewarding laziness.”

    Eh?
If there’s one thing about the reckless, they’re not risk adverse.

Some selective quoting from the BBC I expect. Why not wait till the book is published, read it yourself, form your own opinion and then come and rant on a forum.

That’s probably too much like hard work though….

It was the same selective quoting used by the Evening Standard (which they referenced). Anyone who isn’t lazy would have realised this.

“Too many people in Britain prefer a lie-in to hard work,” they argue.

Well “*******” DUUUUHHHHHH. I prefer a lie-in to hard work. Cant think of anyone who doesnt. Infact anyone who says they do is a liar.

we live in a benefit state where it’s more profitable (for some) to remain on handouts than look for a menial job cleaning toilets or stacking shelves in poundland or some shiz

That’s a lot of cheek from people that make 65 grand for a part time job…

Kwasi Kwarteng doesn’t seem to have any other employment apart from being a public sector employee with short working hours and long holidays: http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm/cmregmem/120730/kwarteng_kwasi.htm

Then the problem is that the jobs don’t pay enough – not that benefits are too high.

If you can get a job, that is.

Employers need to buck up their ideas on what living salary actually works out to be and what it should be like bencooper clearly states.

To boost a good work ethic, there has to be a good incentive.

Do you really believe that, or just read it in the Daily Hate?

Well they’ve demonised, with the help of their attack dogs in the right wing press, the ‘underclass’, the disabled, the public sector. The rest of us who work for a living ( shall we call us the ‘working class’) were obviously next.

If we’d only work 24/7 with no working conditions, pensions, sick pay or holidays, and doff our caps to our robber barron landowner ‘betters’ then the country would be in a far better state!

    Brassed Off

    Mr. Chuckles
So God was creating man. And his little assistant came up to him and he said: “Hey, we’ve got all these bodies left, but we’re right out of brains, we’re right out of hearts and we’re right out of vocal chords.” And God said: “**** it! Sew ’em up anyway. Smack smiles on the faces and make them talk out of their arses.” And lo, God created the Tory Party.

If that happens lets pray we don’t ge the Millibandwagonjumpertaxdodgers in so they can finish what Y not b liar and brown nose started. I.E. making this country financially worse off than Greece. We’ve just had 13 years of socialist gangsters wrecking our country. We don’t need them back in power to finish us off.

You appear to have completely misunderstood Gorehound.

It’s really not that complicated…….”Tories” are not “socialists”.

    Have another go :

I didn’t say they were. It’s the socialists on here who are doing the bleating just because the morons they voted for got ousted after 13 years of screwing our country up.

Seriously, read the link. You’ll find that it’s the Tories who are doing the “bleating”. And they’re definitely not socialists.

No, its because the rules are so complicated/harsh that’s its not worth doing them vs staying on benefits.

And who actually cares what some early 30 y/o MP’s think?

    And here they are:

Is it because the country is in a socialist propaganda induced trance, that despite what you call “morons” were in power for 13 years, the Tories still couldn’t win an election ?

Is it all because the media is in the hands of the socialists ?

Keep taking the medication, its nothing to be ashamed of that you have delusions about the labour party, and them being responsible for all the uk plc,s ills a lot of them where created by the world ecconomic crisis and the poor banking management.

Wrong as usual you’re more brainwashed than realistic, you believe the tripe they print in the guardian and daily mirror for starters, and you vote for fools that deregulate the banks, sell peerages, questions in parliament and let a scumbag like murdoch do whatever he wants to do. Not to mention what the glorious Gordon did to the countrys gold reserves.

That’s some masterful trolling there, Gorehound…

It’s not trolling, it’s a panic and hysteria.

Faced with a thread that exposes some of the particularly nasty and unpleasant character of the Tory Party, Gorehound finds himself completely unable to respond in an intelligent, meaningful, and measured way. So he panics and comes out with some ranting drivel about “socialists”.

What else did you expect him to do …….defend the indefensible ?

    Gorehound
    Free Member

So because I don’t lick windows and vote labour I’m a troll and attempt to defend the indefensible. As for ranting drivel take a look at the tripe you type in defense of the labour government who took a booming economy and left us bankrupt.

You’re getting carried away with your ranting Gorehound. I am totally opposed to New Labour and their record during 13 years of government.

I find the distinction between New Labour and Old Tory insufficient for me to support Labour.
