    MsgBox WorksheetFunction.Sum(Worksheets(“customer order ack”).Range(Cells(53, 4), Cells(datarow + 1, 4)))

    This works, but when i try to set a variable equal to it it doesn’t and gives me an error message.

    any ideas what i am doing wrong.
