Could i fit a Sram rear mech and use Shimano shifters?

I understand that the cable pull leverage ratio is different on the rear between shimano & sram so the they are not compatible. The front mech / shifter is ok to mix as the cable pull ratio is the same.

No with 9 speed stuff, yes with the new 10 speed from what I’ve seen. Front mechs are all fine, it’s only rear where there’s an issue.
