Going to borders for a few days at the weekend and staying in Moffat, prob do AE on Friday but looking for a nice x-country loop of natural singletrack not trail centre for Saturday.
Any locals out there with ideas/routes.

Hi bb, i’ve cycled the southern upland way from moffat to st mary’s loch, http://www.southernuplandway.gov.uk/cms/ and then on to innerleithen/peebles. Not a loop, but if you could get picked up at st mary’s.

Head along to tweed valley, lots of really good natural riding – gypsy Glen, minch moor, 3 brethren etc.

After all the rain we’ve had, I suspect any of the stuff around the moffat area will be even more of a slog than it normally is.
