  • Modular Driveway building systems???

    Nice Sunday morning DIY question.

Has anyone used these PVC modular driveway systems, the stuff you can fill with grass or gravel.
I’ve got an awkward situation. My house is at the bottom of a steep hill, it then drops off at an angle to the hill (it used to flood before we had the wastewater drain moved)
At the moment we just have two concrete stips. The house is below street level so what we build will need to be porous.

We looked at using one of them on a project – I can post a link to some info later. You will probably need to have a look at what the ground conditions are to make sure that it’ll drain away.

There are block paving products that are similar to what you have reffered. Also you could dig a soak away and run with traditional drainage methods, line drains etc…
But as aP says it all depends on the ground conditons, you could run some land drainage pipe under the pourus surface and into the edges of the drive.
