Just had the bearings replaced in my new to me 2nd hand frame so not covered by the lifetime warranty.
How often do you need to grease the lower bearings?
The marine grease is nearly running out in the grease gun so as I’m going to get some of the mobil stuff for wheel hubs wondered if it would work ok or would be too thin in consistency?
If not which grease should I get, don’t think Santa Cruz still sell the Marine Grease tubes anymore?

You pump grease in until it starts to come out around the bearings. I use a tube a year

Yeah just seen the Mobil on amazon, same price as ebay, same place I think.

Re the Marine grease, a lot of the tubes of Marine grease on google say its lithium based so that’s ok to use then?

LBS advised me to grease the bearings around once per month based on riding 2/3 times a week.
