I’ve suddenly found I have a week to spare, and am thinking of making a trip down to Moab – I was last there about 10 years ago, but I know the trails are awesome and easy to find, the hostel in town is pretty sociable, and there are bike shops and places to eat.

Is there anywhere else in that vicinity worth going to instead that’s as easy for self-guided riders?

And anyone been to Moab recently? I’m looking into flying into Grand Junction – it’s a pretty small airport but looks closer than Salt Lake – experiences?

    Cheers

Good riding in both Grand Junction and Fruita, would build in a few days there rather than the whole time in baking hot Moab…

I found the moab riding better than Fruita but Fruita is worth it if you havent been before, worth a couple of days, bit cooler too. Mind, Moab has so much riding a week would be great fun.
