Looking at getting more grip in the winter months and upgrading from Jumbo Jims to Minions on my fat bike.

Can anyone tell me if it’s worth spending the extra £ on a higher TPI tyre? From what i have read the higher the TPI the better the rolling resistance? They are about £30 extra per tyre

The high tpi versions shed a reasonable amount of weight normally and also do have better compliance, but tend to be more fragile. So it’s a trade off.
