i have got one of these and i have been having a play around with it.Can anybody tell me how to change the date that is embedded into the video or how can i get rid of it all together.

On the CD that came with your camera there should be a file called TAG.TXT. Copy this file to your desktop, open it and change the date and time to whatever it is right now, save it and copy it to your cameras root folder (thats the one with the DCIM folder in it). Disconnect the camera and turn it off and on again. The date and time will be changed and the TAG.TXT file will have disappeared.

You can't remove it. You'll have to zap it in virtual dub or something.

The battery in my one doesn't seem to last more than 50 mins. Anyone worked out how to jerry rig an external battery?

I tried to find out about this but the only solution seems to be to edit the video to change it widescreen and remove the bottom pixels.

thats a shame, pretty sure there will be a firmware setting to disable it.

anyone speak chinese and fancy asking the developers?
