Just bled my brakes and have a jam jar with the leftover fluid – what’s the correct way to dispose of it? Do I need to take it to be recycled (bit of a faff for 30ml) or is it just Dot fluid that’s nasty?

Soak it up in a rag. Then bin or burn the rag. Easy.

When I was a kid (1970’s) my Dad dug a small hole behind the Garage. We used to pour small amounts of anything we didn’t want in there.

These days we’re supposed to drive 12 miles to our local tip – to be Green 🙄

    Different times 😆

I just put it in an old plastic bottle and chuck it in the bin – it all gets incinerated anyway.

Save it until you do have enough to take to the tip.
