Looking on CRC, they sell 32 tooth Uno for 8/9 speed chains but dont seem to have 34t other than for singlespeed setups. At this time of year I really want a 34t on the front of a 1×9 and would like to fit an Uno.

Anyone know if I can use a 34t singlespeed chainring with a 9 speed chain? They do 1/8″ and 3/32″ which I’m presuming are singlespeeds both.

I was going top do this and did a bit of research although it never went ahead…you can do 1×9 with Uno rings and you’ll need the 3/32″ chainring AFAIK

I run a singlespeed Blackspire Mono Veloce 32T up front on my 1×9 with a 9spd chain without any problems at all.

Thanks, will do a bit more research, be an expensive mistake if I order the wrong ring.

    Hi Matthew/Middleburn

Was looking at running a 3/32” Uno ring with a 9-speed cassette at the rear: can I use a standard 9 speed chain with the 3/32” Uno ring?

    Cheers”
