I've just fitted a new Middleburn outer chainring, and only after fitting I've noticed that there are only 3 shifting pins, and a hole where a fourth one I think should be.

I need the bike this weekend, and don't expect chainreaction would be able to turn around a swap in time.

Will it make much difference to the shifting? I am tempted just to ride it an ignore it, but if it causes problems I'll regret not swapping it.
