    I’d like to use my middle burn chainset prob set up as a duo (middle and outer) on my road bike. Doable?

    Yes. I did it on my cross bike with a middleburn duo set up. Worked fine. A slightly shorter bb axle might be handy to bring the chainrings in a little.

    just set up a 110bcd atb middleburn triple set up on my vaya with conpact triple rings. 113mm bb spacing looks spot on and not blown up yet

    Yes. I think Middleburn sometimes promote their cranks for road riding in a low key way. They would look very nice on the right kind of road bike IMHO.
