'Free' postage selected at all times…

Round 1 ordered the same friday evening:
Evans: Helmet
EBC: Pair of pannier bags
JE James: inner cable and helmet pad

Winners: dead heat between Evans and Edinburgh bike, both arrived on monday morning. Photo finish between two well established chains with large mail order sides. JE James took a week to discover that they did not have the requested helmet pads in stock and are ordering them in (hopefully).

Round 2 ordered the same midweek evening:
CRC: pair of tyres and gloves
Merlin: Saddle & light

Winner: Merlin who were on time one whole day after ordering. CRC were an extra day afterwards and saved the money by posting 2nd class.

Final round:

Look I'm not made of money ok? No more fighting

crc sent my forks second class last week

Had my first dealings with Merlin this week.
Ordered saddle, which was about £20 cheaper than anywhere else, and in stock, at 10p.m Wed night.
Email at 9.45 Thurs morn telling me its been dispatched
Friday lunchtime, its on the bike!
Very impressed!
