I have been offered a Merida FLX 800 for pretty good money and I am in the hunt for a HT but dont recall seeing much written about either the Merida brand or the range. I think it is a 2009 carbon HT that retailed for around 2K. I am going to look at it tomorrow and would appreciate some informed opinions

I ride with a bunch of Merida sponsored riders, nothing wrong with their bikes. As was said they are a massive producer of frames for themselves and other makes too.

Up until last night I was sold on Scott Scale 30 2011 model but now dont know what to do as the Merida will be considerably less money. I will get a little spin on it but not a full on off road ride so was just looking for some first hand experience of Merida Hardtails.

I’ve had one and it was brilliant.

Look up Gunn Rita Dahle on that google; she rode one with a wee bit of success..
