The helmets thing in BMX is a bit weird. I can sort of see where they're coming from – most BMXers have fallen off loads, so they tend to be good at minimising the risks when it does happen, and there's something about just grabbing your bike and going for a ride that helmets mitigate against. Then again there are lots of BMXers who wear helmets, but they don't get the same coverage as the nutters, as it's not part of the lifestyle package that the kids are being sold.

i’ve broken my scapula, broken a heel, tons of concussions, iv probably knocked myself out over ten times, and iv had some broken fingers. nothing too serious, i used to drink alot of mild so my bones are strong
