    Is this system “the one to buy”. Only need simple route plans which are straight forward to print. I have looked at Trailzilla, it did not impress. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Viewranger app and myviewranger is all I use now (I did use open streetmap sometimes). Brilliant, apart from not being OS maps, totally simple and accurate to use.
    It have it on phone in case, and can send GPX to my (Old) GPS as a back up.
