I run MM on a mio 550. No problems with it after 3 years but be aware of battery life on longer rides.

I'll be selling my HTC P3600 cheap in a few weeks when new iPhone arrives. Been running memory map on it quite happily for last few years. Works a treat, but (original) battery now down to 2 – 3 hours GPS use. Feel free to email (in profile) if you want more details.

Hope you don't think the iphone will have anything like the battery life of a HTC ! epic fail for navigating, ok for referencing.

I have a spare HTC HD with Memory Map and TomTom installed. £160 inc postage, spare battery, case etc. There are various apps which reduce battery life whilst the GPS is on. Look at Display Switch and xdaShutdown. Memory Map is awesome on a PDA once you've mastered it.
