    doesn’t actually state he nailed a knacker to the cobbles does it? Might have taken the easy way and just gone through the sack.

    A nail is just going to pull straight out of cobbles though – he should have gone for a proper Rawlbolt.

    And you’d probably want a good size washer on it.

    My dear fellow, that was Emily Davison.

    Emmeline Pankhurst in fact died in a nursing home at the age of 69.
