So the venue is still secret but the course profile now on the website, 11.4km lap with 380m of climbing per lap, steepest 21.2% up and 21.3% down, average gradient 6.6% up and 6.2% down, bit less room to spread the field over assuming it caters for the same number of entries, thoughts?

Any idea of when venue is going to be named?

How does that compare to Eastner, more or less climbing?

I wish they’d hurry up and say where it is.

Was just looking at the 2011 eastnor course on my garmin thing. 10.1 miles and 370m of climbing. So shorter laps but lumpier.

(Though turning elevation correction off gives 420m of climbing so maybe about the same lumpiness.)

Does that fit Gatcombe Park?

Surprised they’ve gone shorter, quite markedly too. It’ll be a fireroad fest to get everyone on! Hilly, but 21% doesn’t sound that steep.

Suggestion from the other thread, matches Gatcombe quite well. not quite Dyrham and less so if woods are included, Dyrham is fairly treeless.
