Had to use a Specialized Captain 2Bliss tyre in the end that went on sweet in one go.
The Maxxis just wouldn't pump up.I watched Stan's video (again) did brush,soapy water,valve core out, valve core in,pat down etc etc.
Anyone else had probs with Crossmark not taking?

A trick I use that was shown to me Copydex glue around the bead of the tyre, pumps up so easy, I have had 3 cross marks 2.25 on stans no problem.
just fitted an Ardent and an Advantage using the Copydex worked first go, I have stans flow rims with the stans tubless kit.

Put the tyre on with a tube overnight then try tubeless again - it might have lost shape through storage causing the bead not to seat correctly.
